Caledonia Street Fair in Sausalito

By Godfrey Lee Over 2,000 people visited booths selling clothing, jewelry, artwork, food and wine and watched as artists performed on three stages at the Caledonia Street Fair, held last Sunday in Sausalito. Children played at Robin Sweeny Park in inflatable jump houses and a slide, and visitors walked their dogs, At a large tent, framed artwork and a signed guitar were auctioned off. Information booths were set up by the police, library, Sausalito Historical Society and the Sausalito Volunteers In Public Safety. Many people danced to performers, which included Dwight (Blackcat) Carrier and the RoDoggs, which played Zydeco music. The winning entries in the Golden Gate Bridge Photo Contest – Then, Now & Today were also displayed.
