Under the leadership of Pastor Curtis O. Robinson, Sr., Faith Baptist Church’s Faith Visionary Services, Inc. is creating wholesome food in central East Oakland through Five Loaves of Bread Food Pantry, which works with the Alameda County Food Bank. Since beginning the program in November, the pantry has served over 4,000 families, adults and children and has distributed over 50,000 pounds of food. These services are available to the public on second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. Faith Visionary Services was organized in 1999 under the leadership of the late Pastor Haywood Harvey.
