There’s no purchase necessary, and the offer lasts as long as the supplies do. To pick up their free shirt, students must bring a hard copy of their official, mailed Spring 2012 report card, along with ID, into the Oaklandish store at 1444 Broadway in Oakland The shirt is a classic black tree on white — proof that wherever an Oakland education takes students, their roots will stay planted on the Sunny Side of the Bay. The shirt is available in sizes S through XL for women, and S through XXXL for men. Oaklandish offers premium local apparel and accessories that celebrate “local love and original Oakland charm,” with at least 10 percent of all proceeds supporting an array of community partnerships.
