The Bay Area Black Expo hosted its first annual Magnificent 7 Awards Gala that recognized seven people who have made significant contributions and demonstrated their commitment to the Bay Area community. The gala on Wednesday kicked off the Black Expo on Sept. 8 – 9 at the downtown Oakland Marriott Convention Center.
