Dr. Dre is Hip Hop’s Top Earner

Dr. Dre (left) has the right prescription for making money. He landed on top of Forbes magazine’s  Hip-Hop Cash Kings’  list by earning $110 million in the last year. Dr. Dre raked in the money between May 2011 and May 2012, largely from the sales of his “Beats by Dre” headphones, which sell for $100 and up. Sean “Diddy” Combs came in second with $45 million, and Jay-Z earned $38 million to finish third on the list of the 20 top hip hop businessmen/entertainers based on earnings.
