The Richmond Public Library is offering an eight-week program where students will receive intensive study preparation from certified instructors and two practice tests for the S.A.T. (Scholastic Aptitude Test). The workshop will be held March 2 – April 27 and cost $40. High school students who live in West Contra Costa County or attend a public or private high school in West Contra Costa are eligible for the workshop. Registration forms will be available at counselor/career offices at West Contra Costa high schools or the Richmond Public Library, 325 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond. Forms can also be downloaded from the library’s website at www.richmondlibrary.org. Enrollment is limited and registration forms must be received by Feb. 21. For more information call (510) 620-5516.
