By Carla Thomas Community advocate Espanola Jackson had an 80th birthday party Saturday, Feb. 9 at Southeast Community College in San Francisco. Hundreds gathered to celebrate and acknowledge her commitment to the San Francisco Bay Area. Singers, praise dancers, elected officials, department heads and her entire family were on hand for the fun and entertainment. “She is very deserving of a party as grand as this,” said Linda Richardson of the Teasure Island Development Authority. “She has helped many people and poured a lot of love into our youth,” said Brenda Jones of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission.
