Huffman to Host Town Hall Meetings on Social Security and Medicare

Congressman Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) will be hosting town hall meetings on Social Security and Medicare in California’s Second Congressional District. He will discuss his efforts in Congress to protect America’s social safety net and answer questions from constituents. President of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare Max Richtman, Carroll L. Estes from the committee’s Board of Directors, and Al Piombo from the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) will also be present at the meeting. The meetings will be held on Thursday, May 30 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ukiah Senior Center in Bartlett Hall, 499 Leslie Street in Ukiah; Friday, May 31 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Redwoods, 40 Camino Alto in Mill Valley; and May 31 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Petaluma Senior Center, 211 Novak Dr. in Petaluma.
