The San Leandro Public Library will be hosting three programs to help people who want to use the summer to improve their minds and bodies. Each of these programs will be held Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Main Library, which is located at 300 Estudillo Ave. in downtown San Leandro. On July 11, author Linda Graham will discuss her recently published book “Bouncing Back: Rewiring Your Brain for Maximum Resilience and Well-Being.” A question and answer session and a book-signing session will follow the presentation. On Aug. 1, an instructor from Castro Valley Yoga will discuss yoga philosophy and demonstrate some basic positions. Wear comfortable clothing. On Aug. 8, registered dietician Susie Garcia will talk about healthy food choices in order to get the proper nutrition. A question and answer session will follow.
