Not just anybody can turn a means of transportation into a work of art, but it is especially developed by Paul Brown, who has a connoisseur’s eye for customizing bikes.

Brown, a local resident, started creating his one-of-a-kind masterpieces two years ago. He call them “chop scrimpers.”

Sitting on a long chopper bike painted metallic gold and black with his initials outlined in rhinestones, Brown said this design first came to him in a dream before he drew it on paper.

His chop scrimpers have become so popular that strangers, even police officers, approach the self-taught artist asking about his bike. He says he is looking for the opportunity to sell his customized bike in stores.
