Dorothy I know and believe that today Ron connected us once more…He’s still around!!

One quick Ron memory. I loved how I’d see him catch insects and carry them to a window and set them free rather than step on them. He said he killed enough things in life, like relationships. Damn, he was such a good dude.

Hi John: Thank you so much for that memory, that is so true of him. I miss him so much.

Wow…I met Ron 10 years ago and that guy helped me immensely. He opened my mind to such a different way of looking at things and people. Even after my classes were finished I would stop by and visit with him. I recently moved back to the area and figured I could use Ron’s counseling again. I began searching for him online, attempted to call and email him. Instantly I had a bad feeling and here’s the unfortunate reason I couldn’t find him. Heartbreaking news. Ron is the type of man I aspire to be like.

Ron Owens was an inspiration to me he had a way of turning the.worst day into achieving the impossible. I owe my 20+years of sobriety to Ron and Second Chance, they never gave up on teaching , mentoring, praying, and always supporting anyone who needed help or just someone to talk to.May prayers and condolences to his family God be with them and we all know Ron is making sure that everyone and everything are running smooth.

My condolences to the Owens family. Ron was an inspirational person and speaker who, I’m sure, changed many lives. He gave so much to his community. It was a privilege to have worked with you and know you.

  6. Joe and I and the entire C.U.R.A. family will miss you, Ron. You were a real soldier and never gave up the fight of helping others with grace and humor. The field lost a great man. Rest in Peace for a job well done.
