Santa and Mrs. Claus flew in by seaplane to Marin City on the afternoon of Thursday, Dec. 19, to deliver presents to 50 children enrolled in the Performing Stars’ music and dance program.

Mr. and Mrs. Claus, AKA Aaron and Tiffany Singer, owners of Seaplane Adventure, had been looking forward to giving presents to children who were nice all this year.

< p>The weather was great, and at about 4 p.m., the Singers landed their plane. As the preschoolers and first graders chanted “Santa, Santa,” presents were passed out to the line of excited children.

Florence Williams of the Bridge the Gap College Prep helped to give out books and other presents.

The event was held to kick-off to the 16th Annual Holiday Toy Drive, which took place on Sunday in Marin City designed to serve 350 children, from babies to age 17.

Community partners that participated in the toy drive were the Mill Valley Fire Department, Southern Marin Fire District, Marin County Fire Department, Marin County Sheriffs Department, Sausalito Parks & Recreation Department, Sausalito Police Department, Bridge the Gap College Prep, The California Highway Patrol, Outback Steakhouse, Marin Housing Authority, Marin City Community Services District, Bay City Refuse and Marin Rugby.

Sitecore donated toys, and the Sausalito Lions Club provided lunch.
