Dr. Kenneth Anderson Appointed Chair of NMBCA Foreign Mission

Dr. Nehemiah Davis, President of the National Missionary Baptist Convention of America (NMBCA) announced the appointment of Dr. Kenneth Anderson as Chair of the Foreign Mission Board Subcommittee.

Dr. Anderson was appointed during the NMBCA Winter Board Session held February 23-27 in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Anderson said he will be responsible for contacting pastors and church leaders “to involve more than 300 churches in our foreign mission work in places such as San Andres Island, Colombia, Haiti, South Africa and other places where our churches serve families in need.”

Dr. Anderson is the nephew of the historic late Dr. Carl Anderson who pastored at St. John Missionary Baptist in Oakland. Dr. Anderson is the successor to Rev. H.L Hudson at Williams Chapel who also served as Chair of the NMBCA Foreign Mission Subcommittee.
