Stockton Library Gives Storytime Kits to families

The Stockton San Joaquin County Public Library has created Storytime Kits for parents to share with their children.

The kits are themed boxes that contain picture books, an activity book, a song booklet and a puppet or flannel storyboard with figures.

The kits are designed to get young children excited about books and reading and to develop early literacy skills. They are provided by funding from First 5 San Joaquin.

The kits are available at any branch library (people should contact the library to have one sent to the branch nearest them) and are available for three weeks at a time.

For more information, contact the library at (209) 937-8221.
