Local Colleges, Universities Establish “Blueprint” for Transitioning Foster Youth

How do programs provide college pathways for former foster youth? This video features the story of one young black male student at Laney College, and how one college support program helped him transition from juvenile detention to studying to help incarcerated youth. Students from San Francisco State, City College of San Francisco, and UC Berkeley also share the ways college programs for foster youth prepared them for academia and a better future.
