The workshop series, “A Model Built on Faith and Community,” kicks off its 2014 schedule with a new workshop, “The Social Justice Tipping Point: How Involving Others in Your Mission Will Manifest the Change You are Hoping for.”
Designed for nonprofit, community, and ministry leaders, this session will share how to move your mission forward exponentially in 2014, sponsored by OCCUR and The San Francisco Foundation FAITHS Program.
Together for the first time, faith and community leaders Angela Glover Blackwell, CEO and Founder Policylink; Pastor Patrick Kiteley, Senior Pastor, Shiloh Church and Devone Boggan, Director, Office of Neighborhood Safety, City of Richmond, will present concrete direction on how to put faith into action, move beyond the talk and step into new levels of results-oriented ministry and community work.
The workshop, the first in A Model Built on Faith and Community Series VII, will take place Thursday Feb. 20, 8:30 a.m. to noon, 1233 Preservation Park Way in Oakland. Register online at www.amodelbuiltonfaith.org or call (510) 839-2440 fax (510) 268-9065, or email [email protected]
