Michael Alexander Places Second in Toastmaster Speech Contest

ARPB Toastmaster and current District 57 Humorous Speech Champion Michael Alexander placed second in the competitive and well attended Division D International Speech Contest, Monday, April 7.


Alexander ws flanked by James Jeffley, 1st place, who represented Area D-14 (left) and Charles Gibson, 3rd place, who represented Area D-12. Other competitors included Patricia Fuqua and Michael Chong.

Jeffley, who also won the Table Topics contest, will represent Division D at the District 57 finals on May 3 at the California Maritime Academy in Vallejo. The district winner will earn a chance to compete at the World Championship of Public Speaking in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in August. For more information contact www.57tm.org or ARPBToastmasters.org.
