The Post News Group has partnered with The Positive Network Group to launch “The Post Hour,” a one- hour Internet radio review of local and national news, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at KPR1 and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at KGM1.

The Post News Group owns both Internet stations. Produced by Cory Jeffries, the show will also provide gospel, smooth Jazz, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Reggae and Urban Talk.

“It is our charge to redirect the message that social media has been distributing in urban communities locally, across the country and abroad,” said Gabriel Solomon, co-owner of Positive Network Group.

Solomon says it is important to ensure the messages being sent through social media and radio are not influential in a negative way.

Co-owner Kawana Burroughs said the need for such a platform like the Positive Network Group is essential for the urban diaspora in order to “take responsibility for our platform across America.”

The Positive Network Group is currently looking for Interns in areas such as sales, marketing, production, and editing.

For more information, contact the station directly at (510 291-411. Visit The Positive Network Group website at TPNG.biz.
