Some of the Bay Area’s top blight-busters will be out in force to participate in a City of Hayward’s event Friday, Sept. 26 designed to eliminate graffiti vandalism.
Sponsored by “Stop Urban Blight,” the fourth annual “Graffiti Masters” event will bring together a wide range of people interested in finding solutions to graffiti. The event is one part conference, one part trade show and one part golf extravaganza.
The event, which will feature a full day of information sharing, networking and vendor demonstrations, will be held at the Skywest Golf Course, 1401 Golf Course Rd. in Hayward.
The Graffiti Masters event is aimed at police, prosecutors, graffiti abatement personnel, code enforcement, business and property owners, property managers and anyone else affected by graffiti vandalism.
Stop Urban Blight is a non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of graffiti vandalism and reducing the money cities, businesses and citizens are forced to spend dealing with this problem. The group’s mission is to provide graffiti fighters with the opportunity to network with one another and provide education in the field of graffiti prevention, abatement and removal.
All-inclusive registration is $99. Registration for non-golfers is $59. Register online at www.thegraffittmasters.com
