The partnership between the two organizations began in 2012 when the foundation presented two Marin high school students with scholarships to attend the 2013 Summer Art Program.
One of the 2013 and one of the 2014 summer scholarship recipients subsequently received four-year scholarships and are currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts Degree Program at the university.
As Narada states: “I was saddened by the absence of music in the schools, and my goal comes straight from my heart—to inspire kids with music and art education.”
