TPNG Partners with the Post in “Down On The Corner With Paul Cobb”

The Positive Network Group, LLC (TPNG) and HAVEN, headquartered in Oakland with media divisions in Internet radio and television, is collaborating with the Post News Group to launch “Down On The Corner With Paul Cobb.”



The show will be one of many projects on TPNG’s television station, PTv1.



The TPNG brand consists of three divisions – PTv1 and two radio stations: rotates urban, informative talk and top 40 formats, and rotates gospel, jazz, motivational and spiritual talk segments.



TPNG is currently in over 15 major markets throughout the U.S., Canada and internationally.



Co-owners Gabriel Solomon and Kawana Burroughs said their vision is “a one-of-a-kind in merging and moving all media avenues collectively together but in a totally independent genre.”



TPNG said they asked Cobb because of his background in media publishing, and having formerly hosted a radio show and weekly TV program.



Other programs coming to Positive TV are: “Thoughts of a Common Man” with former mayoral-candidate Charles “the Chief” Williams; Cory Jefferies’ “Hot Buttered Soul,” getting the word out on informative street politics; and exclusive interviews with hip-hop artists by Miz and Suga from the Reallionaires.



There is also “Keys to the Kingdom” with Sandra Keyes, where listeners can get the inside look into the Gospel industry. “Obnoxious TV” with Sir William McCray is based on his blog that is notorious for shaking up things at the church. Finally, “The Non-profit Guru” with Lenora Williams offers resources for non-profit business start-ups and maintenance.
