African American Walking Tours of Oakland

African American walking tours of Oakland will be held on Saturday, July 25 and Wednesday, Aug. 19.

 

This tour highlights African American leaders that helped shape present-day Oakland, including Lionel Wilson, Delilah Beasley, Robert Maynard and Byron Rumford.

 

All tours start at 10 a.m. and last about 90 minutes. Reservations are not required but recommended.

 

Meet in front of the African American Museum and Library at Oakland at 659 14th St.
