Chevron U.S.A. Inc. is hosting a workshop for local businesses interested in potential contracting opportunities at the Richmond Refinery.
Businesses located throughout Contra Costa County, and especially those in Richmond, Point Richmond, El Cerrito, El Sobrante and Pinole, are invited to attend on Wednesday, Aug. 19 from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Richmond Technology Center at 100 Chevron Way, Richmond in Richmond.
Company executives and supply chain experts will present information.
“Supporting local economic growth in Richmond is an important priority and Chevron continually seeks to increase the services and products purchased from local businesses,” said Kory Judd, Richmond Refinery General Manger.
“Having a diverse network of suppliers is not only good for our business but it will also help grow the local economy and create jobs.”
Companies with experience working on capital projects as well as routine and turnaround maintenance in the following areas are encouraged to attend:
Civil (structural/foundations), Pile Driving, Electrical & Instrumentation, Piping, General Contracting, Plumbing, HVAC, Refractory Contracting, Insulation, Scaffolding, Mechanical, Painting, Structural, Tank Maintenance and Building.
