The Bay Area Latino Festival will take place noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Oracle Arena East Side Club 7000 Coliseum Way in Oakland.
The free event will showcase visual arts, performing arts and literary arts and will offer exhibitions, educational demonstratioons and performances.
There will be activities for children.
Featured artists include Richard Bean & SAPO, Martha Soledad, Alma Latina, Ballet Tonalli de San Jose, Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts and Mariachi.
Some of the organizations that will be part of the festival are the Mexican Museum, Latin American Media, MCCLA, UC Berkeley Latino Alumni Association,
[email protected]@ Legacy Celebration, CandleLight Global America among many more. There will be activities for children.
The event is organized by EAG, World Trade Partners in cooperation with: HEPCO, CandleLight Global America, Alma Latina and LAM.
