Arthur Blank, the owner of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, and the Founder and Chairman of The Home Depot, can be forgiven for letting loose. The normally straight-faced and business-like Atlanta booster is more given to explaining such details as the expected cash-on-cash return on his investment in the City’s Super Bowl Bid, than, well, being so happy he dances a jig after his team wins a big game – as you can see in the Zennie62 on YouTube vlog. In this case, the Falcons won the 2017 NFC Championship Game, and are headed to Super Bowl 51.
Arthur Blank, or “Mr. Blank” as he’s known by most, could not resists breaking into dance after the game’s end. Some media types made fun of his effort, but considering its very likely none of them will ever own an NFL organization that’s headed to a Super Bowl Game, who cares what they think!
At this point, considering all of the hard times the Falcons went through, including the Michael Vick tragedy, the 2013 NFC Championship Game home loss to the San Francisco 49ers, and the controversial announcement that the organization needed a new stadium to replace the beloved Georgia Dome, Mr. Blank is allowed to cut loose and dance – all night long and into the morning, if he wants to.
Get down, Arthur Blank. Get down with yo bad self.
