Women from myriad industries across the Bay Area will convene in Downtown Richmond on Wednesday, March 15 for an evening of networking, resource sharing, and commemoration of local women business owners and community leaders at Women of Impact.
Hosted by Richmond Main Street Initiative, Women of Impact will celebrate local women entrepreneurs and their contributions to the Richmond community.
The event is a part of their popular Richmond Business Bites workshop series, a program that provides free/low-cost technical assistance and resources to businesses.
Honorees include Susun Kim (Family Justice Center), Ghaliyah Roberts-Palmer (Gratitude gift shop), Anita Darden-Gardyne (Oneva), Earthmother Iyalode (CURME), and Qiana Riley (Astro Construction). A keynote address will be given by Barbara Brown of Riggers Loft Wine Company.
According to Amanda Elliott, Executive Director, Richmond Main Street: “Women of Impact is an opportunity for us to acknowledge the contributions, accomplishments, and value of women-owned businesses–and the women behind them.”
The event is currently sold out. A waitlist has been activated and, space permitting, walk-ins will be admitted.
Women of Impact is presented by Richmond Main Street Initiative. Generous support provided by City of Richmond and Chevron. Admission is free; suggested donation $5. Click here to find out more information about the event and Richmond Business Bites.
