First Missionary Baptist Church will hold a 10th anniversary celebration for Rev. Dr. Rondall Leggett and Sister Angela Leggett. Referencing “Laborers Worthy of Double Honor” (I Timothy 5:17-18), the banquet will be on May 4 and the keynote speaker will be Dr. Leroy Gainey.
The banquet will be formal with preferred White Tie attire in Blue, Silver and White color themes. It will take place at the church, at 501 Drake Ave. in Marin City and start at 6:00 p.m..

Leggett is a community pastor who insists on taking the church outside the walls of the sanctuary. Leggett leads the Marin City Fatherhood Council, which supports and mentors disadvantaged boys and men between 11 to 25 years of age. Leggett also teaches at the Communicating the Gospel and Spiritual Leadership at the North Bay School of Theology at San Quentin State Prison.
Leggett currently serves as Vice Moderator At-Large of the Progressive Baptist Missionary Educational District Association in Northern California. He is a member of the Leadership Board of the Redwood Empire Baptist Association that provides leadership to 52 churches in Northern California.
Leggett attended the Fellowship Bible Institute in San Francisco. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Golden Gate Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Gateway Seminary in Ontario, California.
Pastor Leggett holds a “Healthy Church Consultant” Certification from the California Southern Baptist Convention.
Pastor Leggett is married to his sweetheart Angela. They have three children and four grandchildren.
Angela Leggett is a phenomenal woman, mother and grandmother. Always with a loving smile and kind spirit, she provides strong and significant leadership at FMBC. She teaches the New Members Class, providing understanding on what it means to become a part of the body of Christ.
She is also a dynamic leader of the Youth Ministry and co-leader of the Children’s Church. Under her direction, the five-night Vacation Bible School has been a popular event, attracting nearly 100 attendees each evening. She has also established the Youth Usher Board, training young ushers for tomorrow. FMBC is blessed to have these dedicated, spirit-filled leaders.
