Celebrate the 13th anniversary of the Northern California Pirate Festival on Father’s Day weekend. Featuring over 500 costumed actors, crafters and musicians, the California Pirate Festival is the largest pirate event in the United States.
The event is part Mardi Gras, state fair, living history and pirate fanfest for people of all ages. With three stages of continuous entertainment, rows of nautically inspired handcrafts, gourmet foods, micro-brewed beers, and ship-to-shore cannon battles, visitors will encounter a large number of characters, from mythical mermaids to British Naval Officers throughout the streets.
A special children’s area with a 30-foot slide, zip line, Children’s School of Piracy, Treasure Hunts, and Costume Contests will also be featured at this event.
The Northern California Pirate Festival will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 6:00 p.m. and will be held at the Vallejo Waterfront Park, 298 Mare Island Way. Tickets are available online for $12 for one day or $20 for the weekend pass. Children 12 and under may enter for free.
