St. Benedict Catholic Church Hosts Revival for National Catholic History Month, November 6-8

St. Benedict Catholic Church, which stands as a beacon of hope in East Oakland, will begin National Catholic History Month with an old-fashioned revival.
It will be held on Monday through Wednesday nights, November 6, 7, and 8 at 6 p.m. at the church at 82nd Ave and Bancroft.
All are invited to come hear Rev. Anthony Bozeman, pastor of St. Raymond/St. Leo the Great parishes in New Orleans, La., deliver God’s word. Rev. Bozeman understands and truly believes that “to whom much is given, much is required.”
Although this revival is being held in this celebratory month for Black Catholics, St. Benedict member Dionne Cola says, it has a primary reason. “We recognize that in our community, and worldwide, there is a cry for help. We are all searching for answers that only God can provide,” she said in a statement. “Our theme ‘Taking Our Faith Back.’”
