Dr. Joseph Lowery on APS Trial: ‘Racketeering Had No Business in This Equation’

Atlanta (CBS 46) – Dr. Joseph Lowery released a statement Thursday saying that the prison time and fines handed out in the Atlanta Public Schools cheating trial were “ridiculous.”
Dr. Lowery asked “what statement have we made?” in his remarks, urging the judge in the case to make the convicted educators “teach, mentor and serve” the children impacted by the cheating scandal.
