Kaiser Permanente Sponsors Community Health Clinic
Kaiser Permanente will sponsor a community health clinic Saturday, March 1 at the University of the Pacific (UOP), offering health screenings, dental and other services to the Stockton community.
In partnership with El Concilio (Council for the Spanish Speaking), the clinic will offer free services provided by UOP’s Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy & Health Sciences and the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
The event will feature an “Ask the Doctor” station with Kaiser physicians. Services will include screenings for diabetes, blood pressure, mental health, asthma, cholesterol and anemia. Dental hygienists will also offer screenings to encourage preventive dental care for participants.
Immunizations and assistance with medication costs will be available. Participants are encouraged to bring all their medications.
The clinic will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the University of the Pacific Chan Family Health Sciences Learning Center and Clinics, 757 Brookside Rd. in Stockton.1. For more information, visit bit.ly/phskphealthfair2014
