(NNPA) — TIME Magazine revealed its 12th annual 100 list of the most influential people in the world.

Kanye West, Misty Copeland and Laverne Cox  are some of the influential people to grace TIME’s elite list. Misty Copeland recently made history as the first Black dancer to lead a production of Swan Lake and Laverne Cox is breaking barriers as a trans actress and advocate.

Of course Kanye West wasn’t surprised by his influence. He’s a God, that’s what Gods do. “Every time I crash the Internet, it’s like a this little drop of truth. Every time I say something that’s extremely truthful out loud, it literally breaks the Internet. So what are we getting all the rest of the time?” Kanye humbly believes.

Surprisingly, he said he didn’t care about being the future. “I don’t care about having a legacy. I don’t care about being remembered.”

Other notables named to TIME’s influential list include Kevin Hart, President Barack Obama,Hillary Clinton, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Lee Daniels, Kim Kardashian (yes, she made the list) and more.
