The Richmond Police Department will host a multi-agency traffic enforcement operation citywide on Tuesday, June 25.
The RPD added three new motorcycle officers as of May this year, bringing its total to five. Now, it is partnering with neighboring law enforcement agencies to address traffic safety throughout the city.
“Although this operation is timely given the recent homicides, it is not in response to recent homicide activity, as these multi-agency deployments require advance preparation,” police said.
The public is asked to report suspicious activity to our non-emergency line at 510-233-1214. People provide information anonymously at 510-307-8177.
