The Post endorses Noel Gallo for City Council, serving District 5. Gallo has initiated an attitude of accountability and has led a weekly cleanup and beautification campaign that has now been adopted by his City Council colleagues.
Gallo has initiated an attitude of accountability and has led a weekly cleanup and beautification campaign that has now been adopted by his City Council colleagues.
His constant reminder that Oakland’s City employees should come back to work rather than working remotely from their homes is developing momentum and widespread support.
We agree with his assertion that it could help to bring more activity and life back to downtown while providing face-to-face services to the citizens of Oakland.
