The West Contra Costa Education Fair is back, and this year promises to be a celebration of education, community, and the unsung heroes who make it all possible.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Jan. 27, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., as Pinole Valley High School opens its doors to families for an exciting and informative event.

The Education Fair, sponsored by the West Contra Costa Unified School District, EnrollWCC, GO Public Schools WCC, and the Richmond Promise, serves as a vital bridge between families and the educational resources available in the community.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage face-to-face with representatives from K-12 schools across West Contra Costa, a wide range of community organizations, and local colleges. This is a perfect way to explore many of the wonderful programs and services found throughout WCC.

This free event is not just for families but for everyone invested in the educational well-being of our community. To ensure you don’t miss out, we encourage you to RSVP by filling out the form here or at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc5pSb3UAXOpGCi1DeQXnNd0kKqZhlxn4jdd5Px46QfOWs6-A/viewform

Spread the word so that every family in our community can benefit from this exciting opportunity.

One of the highlights of this year’s Education Fair is the continuation of the West Contra Costa School Champion Awards. These awards are designed to recognize and celebrate the invaluable contributions of school support staff. From attendance clerks to bus drivers, cafeteria staff to sports coaches, and more – this is our chance to shine a spotlight on those who work tirelessly behind the scenes. Nominate these extraordinary individuals as School Champions by clicking here.

The School Champion Awards ceremony will take place in person at the fair starting at 11 a.m. on Jan. 27. It’s a moment to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of these individuals who play a crucial role in creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
