Westside Worship Center Celebrates Pastor Installation

Westside Worship Center in Oakland invites the community to attend the installation celebration of Pastor Elder Sonya M. Stewart.

“She is grounded and believes praise and worship is essential to being a good Christian,” said Lawrence Scales, a member of Westside Worship Center.

The service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28 at First A.M.E Church, 3701 Telegraph Ave. in Oakland, at 3:30 p.m. Bishop Houston Crenshaw of Apostolic Faith Community Church has been invited to serve as the speaker for the occasion.

With the same excitement and energy, WWC will again gather on Sept. 29 to celebrate the church’s third anniversary. Dr. Nathaniel Riley of Pilgrim COGIC has been invited to deliver the word.

The celebration will take place at Morh1 Community Center, 741 Filbert St. in Oakland. All are invited to attend the Westside Worship Center’s celebration weekend.
