Ava DuVernay to Direct CBS ‘For Justice’ Pilot

(Entertainment Weekly) – Selma director Ava DuVernay is taking her talents to the small screen to direct CBS’ For Justice pilot.

For Justice is based on James Patterson’s The Thomas Berryman Number, a novel about an FBI agent bouncing between her blood family and her professional one.

Onetime Law & Order producer Rene Balcer is set to write and executive produce the series.
