(Us Weekly) – The family is leaning on him. Hollywood power player Tyler Perry offered his support to Bobby Brown when he heard the news of Bobbi Kristina‘s hospitalization this past weekend.
A source close to Perry tells Us Weekly that the actor, writer and producer, a close friend of the Brown family, is currently at Bobbi Kristina’s bedside and lending his support as the 21-year-old daughter of Brown and the late Whitney Houston remains in critical condition in the North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Ga.
“Tyler was absolutely shocked by the news,” the source tells Us. “He heard the news and immediately offered Bobby Brown a flight in his private jet, which is why they arrived at the hospital together.”
Brown took the private jet from L.A. to Atlanta on Saturday, Jan. 31, to rush to his daughter’s bedside. Another insider tells Us that Perry was already bound for Atlanta. “He called Bobby immediately and offered to take him,” the source tells Us.
