Urban Financial Services Coalition Hosts Fall Mixer

Published

on

The Urban Financial Services Coalition San Francisco Bay Area Chapter hosted a Fall Networking Mixer, Friday, Nov. 21 at U.S. Bank in the financial district of San Francisco.

More than 100 minority bankers, real estate agents and professionals from a variety of fields attended the event to network and learn more about the organization, its work and upcoming event. Urban Financial was encouraging people to volunteer to support the organization’s financial literacy initiative for underserved communities.

“We need people who want to be a part of the financial change that’s needed in our country to help people learn and understand the language of money,” said Jasper Smith, president.

“We are seeking volunteer to share resources that can benefit both the nine-to-fivers and entrepreneurs. We want to help them become successful in their endeavors,” he added.

UFSC is a nonprofit organization of minority professionals working in the financial services field. The chapter promotes community awareness on various aspects of banking and finance related issues. To learn more about UFSC visit www.ufscnet-sf.org.
