Wiz Khalifa Reveals Honor of Writing Paul Walker Tribute ‘See You Again’
(MTV News) – With Furious 7 leaving viewers feeling far more emotional than usual when exiting the cinema, it’s not surprising to hear that Wiz Khalifa was touched to honour the film with a song.
“To have the responsibility to do the Paul Walker record was really dope,” Wiz told MTV News on Saturday at the Palladium in Hollywood, California.
With ‘See You Again’ already no.1 in the Official Charts, Wiz reveals that he thought back to what the film’s message is as well as what Paul Walker’s character symbolised.
“I basically thought about what the movie stands for as far as family and the brotherhood, and of course, using the metaphor of the last ride and the last race because of that last scene,” Khalifa explained.
