George “Rocky” Graham Park Groundbreaking Ceremony
A groundbreaking ceremony will be held for the George “Rocky” Graham Park in Marin City. Saturday, Aug. 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 800 Drake Ave. next to the Sheriff Substation and Fire Station.
The ceremony will include a kid’s jumper, a light barbecue lunch, and local musical performances.
Nancy Peach will give a presentation on the mural.
The George “Rocky” Graham Park is a project sponsored by the Marin City Community Services District and funded by state 2006 Clean Water Bond Act to enhance the quality of life of all community members.
Organizations providing support to this project include the Trust for Public Land, Royston Hanamoto Alley & Abey (RHAA), Marinship, Mack5, and Marin Grassroots.
