ST. PETERSBURG – Annually, the Friends of James Weldon Johnson Branch Library, Inc. sponsor Summer Bees in the month of July, and this year was no exception.
Participants in the first through sixth grades competed in spelling, geography or math. These young people showed much eagerness, enthusiasm and seriousness as they set out to win in their particular category.
We appreciate the parents who made sure their child was ready to compete.
The winners were rewarded great prizes from either Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. or the Friends of James Weldon Johnson Branch Library, Inc.
